Best breach prevention, lowest total cost of ownership
The 2025 AV-Comparatives Endpoint Prevention and Response test scores products on breaches prevented and on what running them costs over four years. Bitdefender took the top position on both axes at once, which is the pairing most vendors have to trade off.
Stopping threats before they start
In the AV-Comparatives Enterprise Advanced Threat Protection test, 87 percent of threats were blocked at pre-execution against a 36 percent average for other vendors. Blocking before execution is the difference between an alert and an incident.
Best protection, and best advanced protection
AV-TEST runs continuously through the year rather than as a one-off, and issues its Best Protection award on the full run. Bitdefender took it for 2025, alongside the Advanced Protection award.
